Angela first came to the neighborhood as a volunteer to work with Summerfield doing women's ministry. And, amazingly enough, she ended up doing youth ministry instead! It was obvious that was what God wanted, and when the opportunity opened up, we took Angela on as our youth pastor... first part-time and now full-time. Which, of course, means she has also ended up taking an active part in our women's ministry!

Angela's strong faith, enthusiasm, authenticity, and sense of humor make her ideal for working with kids. Her true love is Jesus first, with the youth of our neighborhood close behind. (Although her husband Josh has rightly taken second place!)

You'll often see Angela on the computer or phone, talking to youth and parents... or sitting in the lounge using the computer to plan retreats and various creative ways of sharing Jesus with others... or out with the youth enjoying a burger or watching a movie.
