Reinhard Kruse, who was pastor of Summerfield in the late 1980s and early 1990s, passed on to the next life on Friday, November 11. The funeral service is planned for Sunday, November 20, at 2 PM at Arch Street UMC, 55 N. Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107. “The last enemy to be destroyed is death.”

Summerfield joined together with Friends of Konrad Square, Philadelphia Parks & Rec, the Philadelphia Fire Department, and other groups and neighbors in the Konrad Square fall cleanup. Another wonderful afternoon meeting up with friends in Hope Park.
